1992 Fender Stratocaster "Super Strat" - Stamped by Hector Montes - Heavy Relic - Seymour Duncan & Floyd Rose

Description

The "Neck Guru" Pedigree

Up for sale is a truly unique 1992 Fender Stratocaster featuring a neck hand-shaped and stamped by the legendary Hector Montes. Stamped "APR 23 1992", this neck comes from a golden era at Fender. Montes was one of the early stars of the Fender Custom Shop, famous for his work on the first SRV and Eric Clapton signature models. This neck has that sought-after slim, fast feel that made Montes a legend among Fender enthusiasts.

Classic Look meets Modern Power

The body is finished in a stunning Candy Apple Red, showing an authentic heavy relic wear that reveals the wood and gives it a soulful, played-in character. This isn't just a vintage-style Strat; it’s a high-performance "Super Strat" machine.

Professional Hardware & Electronics

Pickups: Loaded with a high-output HSS configuration. The neck and middle positions feature Seymour Duncan SJBJ-1n JB Jr. pickups—single-coil-sized humbuckers that deliver the iconic JB crunch without the hum.

Bridge: Equipped with a premium Schaller-made Floyd Rose locking tremolo system (recessed) and a matching locking nut for rock-solid tuning stability, even during heavy dive bombs.

Condition & Playability

The guitar has been professionally set up. The frets have plenty of life, and the Hector Montes neck is straight with a very comfortable action. The relicing is cosmetic and does not affect the structural integrity of the instrument.
