Beautiful Embergher mandolin Type 3 from 1929 in perfect condition. Purchased by my Dutch grandmother (born in 1900) in Italy. The mandolin is in perfect condition and has been professionally restored in 2022. The mandolin is including the original case and sheet music from 1922.
Mandolino per orchestra, with 32 palisander wood sculpted ribs, rosette and head inlayed with mother of pearl – position markings on the concert fingerboard in ebony wood, scratch plate in tortoise shell.
Antonio Luigi Embergher (1856-1943) was an Italian luthier known for his high quality bowl-back mandolins. The mandolins from Embergher are compared to the Stradivarius violin for its perfection ().
It's possible to test the instrument in The Hague, in the Netherlands. Shipping is also possible an option.
