John Masters is the Luthier for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra who exclusively works on string instruments. The previous owner purchased this violin in Chicago for $2,200 in 2005 and his daughter played it for a month before giving up on the violin and switching to guitar. This is a terrific sounding violin that sounds better than ones costing Double what I’m asking for this One. You can’t go wrong with this fine intermediate level violin.
