Gibson Melody Maker 1986 Black

This Gibson Melody Maker is going to make someones day. These don't come up all that often and for good reason. They were played and played hard. The single humbucker sounds killer and makes great hard rock tones.

As far as I can tell this is all original. Grover tuners. The Fretboard is smooth and well oiled. Frets have a bit of wear but nothing serious. Still plenty of life left. No Scratchiness in the pots. Its ready to rock.

This is not a refinished guitar so it does have its fair share of signs of 30 years of use. There is a bit of fading where your arm would rest and some pick scratches on the top side of the strings where there is no pick guard. Theres are few little chips but nothing serious at all. The back of the neck also has a few small dents but nothing that affects playability at all. The headstock also has some bumps as you can see in the pictures. Its been played, but I have seen far worse examples on much newer guitars!

It does come with a vintage case. Not a Gibson case but it does protect it well.

Depending on your definition of "Vintage" This could be considered a Vintage Gibson. Either way its a great price on this Gibson and you won't regret this one!
