Beard Jerry Douglas Signature

When a builder like Beard Guitars collaborates with Jerry Douglas, the result is nothing short of exceptional. Designed to meet the demands of one of the greatest dobro players of all time, this signature resonator is a must-see (and hear) for any serious musician.

The solid mahogany body, paired with a stunning Pommele Sapele top, creates a tonal foundation that’s both warm and articulate. The high-gloss Tobacco Sunburst finish enhances the visual appeal while highlighting the intricate grain patterns of the wood. With its Spinning Palm cover plate and classic resonator aesthetics, this guitar is a blend of tradition and innovation.

In terms of sound, the spider bridge offers a crisp and detailed tone, making it perfect for both traditional and modern playing styles. The Fishman Nashville Bridge Pickup ensures every nuance of your playing is captured when amplified, making this an exceptional choice for the stage or studio. Whether unplugged or amplified, the Jerry Douglas Signature resonates with clarity and power.

The neck, crafted from mahogany with a square profile, is designed for comfort and precision in lap-style playing. The flat ebony fingerboard adds a sleek playing surface, while the Gotoh 510 tuners ensure stable tuning, even during demanding performances. This resonator is a true player’s instrument, built with functionality in mind.

Delivered in a sturdy TKL hardshell case and accompanied by practical accessories like Beard polish, a strap lock, and a Resoflix discount coupon, this resonator is ready to travel wherever inspiration strikes. Jerry Douglas’s signature touch makes this a truly versatile and inspiring instrument.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
