1997 Fender American Standard pickup set - Delta Tone
Our users rate Reverb
Pickup set extracted from a 1997 Fender American Standard Stratocaster. With alnico 5 flat polepieces and a measured DC resistance of 6,12K / 6,00K / 7,52K respectively neck / middle / bridge positions. Wiring cables with the lenght for its mounting (white wires go to the selector and colored ones to mass). Original mounting screws and tubing included (see that some tubings need replacement).
These pickups correspond to the period in which Fender USA, facing the critics about the low output of the bridge pickup on the American Standard Strats (that many replaced quickly by an aftermarket one), incremented its output with a slight overwound for the bridge position (The whole system was known as Delta Tone and was complemented with a No-Load pot for the second tone control, seeking for more output and highs).
In perfect working condition.
