A powerful new version of the Fow Tape Echo?which is rapidly becoming the new standard for delay and echo pedals among musicians in Nashville and across the United States?has been released with two new features. The first new feature is a tap switch for tempo input, which has been highly requested. Regardless of the position of the "Echo" knob, you can manually set delay times of up to 600 ms. The second new feature is the gFaux Tape Reelh modulation control, which realistically simulates the characteristics of a tape echo. It organically reproduces the flutter effect created by mechanical heads and rotating tape. The hybrid structure?featuring the clear, natural, and musical delay sound provided by the PT2399 chip, combined with a digital delay circuit and analog modulation and I/O circuits?remains unchanged. From muffled, shadowed echoes to bright, well-defined delay sounds, and from subtle, unobtrusive doubling to massive, cathedral-like reverberations, the range of effects is vast. This is a new classic among delay/echo pedals that successfully combines the warmth of analog with the high sound quality and functionality of digital technology.
