Wefve just received a 1975 Gibson Les Paul Custom Sunburst, as indicated by its serial number and pot date! Featuring the "Twenties Anniversar" inscription?a model released in 1974 to commemorate the Customfs 20th anniversary? and is a rare model produced only in 1974 and 1975. It features a 3-piece mahogany neck with a volute and a body with a so-called "pancake" construction?maple sandwiched between mahogany?a specification unique to this era. . The fingerboard is made of ebony. The neck profile is slightly thinner than typical for a Les Paul, featuring a shape characteristic of the 1970s. It is equipped with two original "stamped numbered PAF" pickups. This guitar delivers a powerful, punchy 70s sound. It is equipped with original 1975-era pots. The frets, nut, tuners (with some wear on the headstock), bridge, tailpiece, screws, and plastic parts have been replaced. Playability is excellent thanks to the replaced frets.
