Like the American Special and later American Performer models that succeeded it, the Highway One was designed as a more affordable alternative to the American Standard. This Made in USA Fender features a thinner, lighter finish that has naturally acquired some cosmetic wear over time, though none of it affects the guitar’s playability or performance. It combines an alder body with a Modern C-profile maple neck and a 9.5-inch radius maple fingerboard, offering the familiar feel and comfort of a classic Stratocaster. The original tuners have been replaced with locking tuners for improved tuning stability, and this example weighs just 3.52 kg (7.76 lbs), making it particularly comfortable for extended playing sessions.More pix and details upon request.
