FT ELETTRONICA Amianto - Bass Distortion

The Amianto Bass Distortion produces a rich, articulate, and aggressive sound that can range from a gritty overdrive to a full-blown, saturated fuzz with a distinctive “growl” and “bite.” At its core is a distortion pedal that leans heavily into fuzz territory with a crucial addition: a treble booster at the front end.

Amianto Bass Distortion: From Gritty Overdrive to Aggressive Fuzz
The Amianto Bass Distortion delivers a rich, articulate, and aggressive sound for the modern bassist. This pedal provides a distinctive “growl” and “bite” for any genre. Use it for subtle, gritty overdrive or a saturated, “ripping” fuzz.

Unique Circuitry: Distortion Meets Treble Boost
Unlike standard dirt boxes, the Amianto integrates a front-end treble booster into its core distortion circuit. This unique combination keeps your tone articulate even at high gain. It offers a “twangy” quality and avoids the muddy pitfalls of traditional bass fuzz.

Cut Through the Mix

Midrange Punch: A prominent midrange ensures your bass never gets lost in a dense mix.
Smooth Highs: We carefully voiced the top end to be smooth and musical. This eliminates the harsh, “fizzy” artifacts common in high-gain pedals.
Low-End Retention: The essential Blend control reintroduces your clean signal. It restores the fundamental punch that distortion usually thins out.
Intuitive Four-Knob Interface
The Amianto features a straightforward layout for quick stage adjustments:

Level: Sets the overall output volume.
Distortion: Adjusts the amount of saturation and sustain.
Tone: This wide-sweep EQ moves from dark and smooth to bright and cutting.
Blend: This crucial tool mixes your dry signal back in for maximum impact.
