⚡️1963 Gretsch Anniversary⚡️. Ah, the Gretsch guitars of the early 60s… top-notch craftsmanship, a rich, resonant body tone, and a clear Hilotron pickup, perfectly suited to this type of guitar.
The Anniversary is a more modest model than the 6120 and other highly ornate Gretsch guitars, but the craftsmanship is just as high-quality.
The neck is round and very comfortable, with thin frets, a rosewood fingerboard, and a deep body that develops a beautiful acoustic resonance and delivers plenty of attack when plugged in.
You can easily play blues, folk, jazz, or even explore those classic Neil Young-esque rootsy tones.
A beautiful example, with well-preserved binding, a smooth and musical Bigsby tremolo, and its vintage case—a real gem!
Pro setup at the workshop.
