STC 28-SU-43A / 36D 1947
For sale is an amazingly rare valve STC set.
Made in Australia from the 1940’s, we have a valve microphone preamp (28-SU-43A) and valve limiting amplifier (28-SU-36D).
Both of these units have been restored and modified for modern use.
A VU meter was installed in the preamp, replacing obsolete testing input and output jacks. Making the unit more functional. The valve limiting amplifier has had its calibration controls moved to the back, and input, attack, release, and limiting bypass controls added to the front, making the unit more functional. Both units are powered from a custom made power supply.
These are incredibly rare units to find and even harder to find as a set. Restored, sound amazing as you’d expect and ready for their next home. They come as a set and will not be separated.
