Here's your chance to purchase an extremely rare microphone made by Rundfunktechnisches Institut Nürnberg, it has a Neumann M5 omnidirectional capsule and a Telefunken EF12 tube. The microphone has undergone a major renovation and is ready to use in plug&play condition. The microphone has the same connector as in Telefunken u47, which suggests quality workmanship! I compared it with the u47 and it is a comparable device class. The microphone has an original Telefunken tube, an original transformer, the necessary capacitor replacements were made with Sikatrop paper-oil capacitors. The resistors have been checked. The M5 capsule from Neumann has been checked and cleaned in accordance with the Neumann cleaning technology. It is a microphone with an open, tube sound for a fraction of the u47 price. all contacts were cleaned of oxides to reduce the resistance of the elements, which opened up the sound. The microphone comes with a 6.3V 150V power supply with the Neumann logo.
