This partcaster is a tribute to Nile Rodgers "Hitmaker". Acquired in a pawnshop in 1979, his fetish guitar has accompanied him from his early days with the band Chic right up to the present day. This guitar features a hardtail with through strings and a chrome-plated brass mirror pickguard. Its Japanese maple neck features a "Chunky" shape. Its hand-wound pickups, made by Hepcat, the French specialist in vintage pickups, produce a sound typical of Stratocasters from the late 60's, whose snap and brilliance are enhanced by the maple fingerboard. It can be used for a wide range of musical styles, including, of course, funk.
