This beautiful partcaster offers a refined look with its glossy Metallic Gold finish and hybrid tortoise F-Hole pickguard.
It has two hand-wound pickups.
On the neck side, a Lollar 50s Wind P-90. It's based on the pickups found in electric blues legend Sean Costello’s 1954 Les Paul Goldtop. It use lower output magnets specifically degaussed for a bright, percussive tone with plenty of cut. The 50s Wind P-90 isn’t as hot as a Standard P-90 and it puts more emphasis on the top end, with much less of the typical P-90 midrange “grind.” It's a perfect fit for players who want a clear and chimey P-90 sound, and those who draw inspiration from Sean and the 50s- and 60s-era work of electric blues heavy hitters like Freddie King and Hubert Sumlin.
On the bridge side an A5/A2 broadcaster from QPickups which is a repliqua of the famous "FiveTwo" that Seymour Duncan designed for the Nashville studio musicians, with Alnico 2 magnets for the 3 hight strings.
The guitar comes with a Tweed case.
