One of Leo Fender's final bass masterpieces.

This USA-made G&L L-2000 was built in Fullerton, California on September 16, 2020 as part of G&L's Made in Fullerton production line. Evolving Leo Fender's original L-1000 design, the L-2000 introduced a second MFD humbucker and the highly versatile Tri-Tone electronics, becoming one of the most flexible passive/active basses ever designed.

Finished in the striking Belair Green, this particular instrument was featured by G&L on their official social media before being shipped to Musik Wein in Germany.

The bass comes complete with its original Certificate of Authenticity, factory specification sheet, warranty documents, case candy and original deluxe G&L hard case.

About the L-2000

Introduced in 1980, the G&L L-2000 expanded upon Leo Fender's original L-1000 concept by adding a second MFD humbucker and the innovative Tri-Tone switching system.

The combination of active/passive operation, series/parallel switching and independent bass and treble controls makes the L-2000 one of the most versatile production basses ever built. Despite its enormous tonal range, it has a distinctive voice of its own—powerful, articulate and unmistakably G&L.
