About this listing
Ibanez TS808HWV2 Handwired Overdrive Pro EffectpedalIbanez wanted to evolve the iconic Tube Screamer, with a redesign of the flagship handwired model. Each component was re-evaluated, trying to stay true to the pedal's transparent and mid-focused sound. After numerous prototypes, Ibanez came to the conclusion that the JRC NJM4558 Op-Amp was essential to achieving the Tube Screamer's legendary sound. At the same time, this new design is capable of producing a wider range of sounds, thanks to the use of high-end components such as MOGAMI OFC cables, which further enhance the benefits of a handwired pedal. In addition, the circuit's power stage has been given a boost that increases the maximum output level by +6 dB. The appearance has also been redesigned, giving the pedal a premium appearance while maintaining the traditional shape.Specifications:OverdriveHand-wired tube screamer with additional boost and MOGAMI OFC cablesDesign: AnalogJRC NJM4558 Op-AmpMono/Stereo: Mono In, Mono OutControls: Overdrive, Tone, LevelSwitch: On/OffTrue BypassPower supply: 9-18 V DC (power supply not included)Made in Japan
