At first appearence, this '55 modified Strat in the color "Lime Green" looks pretty striking. But it actually carries the venerable genes of a traditional Strat from the early days of Fender production. A body made of first-class, 2-piece ash and the 1-piece neck made of Rift Sawn Maple with a contemporary "10/56 V" neck profile are the basis for the familiar sound that bubbles out of the speakers when you first play it. And at a level that can compete with the best originals. You'll notice that this is only half the truth when the Seymour Duncan Alnico II in the bridge position brings out distorted chords assertively and with merciless openness.
