Pigtronix Disnortion

If you're looking for a distortion pedal that goes way beyond the usual overdrive territory, the Pigtronix Disnortion Micro delivers in a big way. This compact version packs the same aggressive personality into a pedalboard-friendly enclosure, offering everything from rich, harmonically complex crunch to thick, sustaining high-gain distortion. It responds exceptionally well to your guitar's volume knob and picking dynamics, making it just as comfortable adding grit to edge-of-breakup tones as it is driving an amp into full-on saturation.

One of the things that makes the Disnortion stand out is its unique voice. Rather than simply chasing the classic Tube Screamer or Rat sound, it has a broader frequency response with a huge low end and plenty of clarity, giving chords impressive definition while still delivering singing lead tones. It also features Pigtronix's distinctive circuitry that adds an almost amp-like feel under your fingers, making it incredibly rewarding to play.

If you're familiar with pedals like the ProCo Rat or the Fulltone OCD, the Disnortion Micro lives in that same world of versatile, amp-inspired gain, but with a bigger, more open character and noticeably more punch. It can cover everything from classic rock and hard rock to modern alternative and heavier styles without ever feeling one-dimensional.

This pedal is in used condition and is ready for its next board. Whether you're after a unique primary drive or a powerful distortion that can stack beautifully with other pedals, the Pigtronix Disnortion Micro is an underrated gem that deserves far more attention than it gets.
