Gibson CS Murphy Lab 1961 ES-335 Reissue VOS 2025 - 60s Cherry

The Historic Reissue ES-335 is back and better than ever thanks to a year of studying, scanning, and listening to original examples. The expert craftspeople at Gibson Custom Shop have rendered every contour, profile, inlay and color of the priceless vintage models in magnificent detail. The result is a playing and ownership experience that will keep you coming back for more. The 1961 Reissue models utilize rounded cutaways, slim-taper neck profiles scanned from originals, dot inlays and vintage-replica parts.

Other premium features include a SlimTaper 60s C Style profile, 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body, 22 frets , Indian Rosewood fingerboard, Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups, Kluson Single Line tuners with Murphy Lab Light Aged nickel hardware, Pearloid Dot Inlay, a deluxe hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity.

This 2025 guitar is a VOS piece of art in mint condition and is featured on our shop's Wall of Fame. This guitar chimes like anything before. It's as smooth and comfortable as it first appears. Both the neck and frets make playing a cotton candy experience, while the pickup set gives it that high-end character you'd expect from a Custom Shop, with a unique voice.
