This
is rare as hell vintage early 1980s TCS LC-1 Limiter Compressor.
NOS cond-s (never used from stock), original power wire for 220V and user manual with schematic are included.
For your consideration is this extremely rare all-original example of a TCS LC-1 Limiter Compressor. A Russian-made, solid-state, stereo or dual mono broadcast dynamics processor. A Russian-made, solid-state, stereo or dual mono broadcast dynamics processor. It is a great all-around stereo compressor/limiter in the likes of a pair of Distressors, if made in early '80s. That is to say, it works wonders in a number of situations, has many options for dialing in the perfect compression settings, but has more character and color like that of a vintage compressor. It really sounds great. This unit features two channels with attack, release, threshold, range (ratio), and out level; gain reduction meters (reads "gain raduction" on the unit); de-esser; sidechain in/out; mono or stereo (link) modes; 1/4" TRS jacks; It seems like it is very similar to the Audion compressor, which is also pretty hard to find. The main differences between this and the Audion, besides the look of it (this thing is 2 rack spaces, and a military green with colorful knobs) is that it has sidechain send AND return, and it has a de-esser on each channel. It has so much character and usability, it's truly a one of a kind piece. The original spaces for the rack screws don't match modern rack spaces.
The unit runs at 220V and includes the original power cable . This is one of the most interesting vintage compressors I've come across, and also one of the best-sounding (and looking in my opinion). It's in great cosmetic and perfect working condition. Rare hugo. Looking for a new home.
Power : 220/240 V AC
