This special version allows you to hang it up or mount it on a tripod. This means that you won't experience any of the limitations of the original version. It has been modified by Philippe from Cinela, the master of microphone wind baskets. All you need to do is unscrew the cap with the yellow dot and mount a 3/8" thread. (This modification cost me around €1000 back then.)
