And it's in OUTSTANDING CONDITION with few stick marks present, no cracks, chips or keyholes! It was very well taken care of and weighs 2013 grams! This cymbal is a real find in this condition as most of this model have been obliterated or are in poor condition! And this cymbal has 3 rivets factory installed for that old school jazz sound!The 1991 Zildjian Cymbal catalog describes this cymbal as "Zildjian's unique pre-aging process gives these cymbals the tonality and sound characteristics of older, more played in cymbals. A beautiful, subtle ride sound with a drier, more mellow sounding tonality than a brand new cymbal." My description is that this a bendable thin 20" Ride cymbal which generates just the right blend of "ping" to "tah" sound, combined with a generous sized bell which is great for patterns. Because of the thin weight, it also has a nice wash which allows for some really nice shoulder crashes. This is an excellent cymbal for the die hard jazz drummer! This cymbal generates a beautiful sound and is a great choice for jazz drummers, being that this model was the ride cymbal of choice for the legendary STEVE SMITH!
