About this listing

The Wilson Effects Lusus Naturae is a boutique, organic overdrive and boost designed to act as a "tone enhancer" for players who want to push their amplifier's natural breakup into a more harmonically complex territory. Hand-built in the USA, it is a standout in the Wilson Effects catalog as the only pedal featuring a buffered bypass circuit rather than true bypass, which helps maintain signal integrity and high-end clarity across long cable runs even when the effect is disengaged. Key Performance HighlightsHarmonic Expansion: It is specifically engineered to interact with an already dirty amp, uncovering layers of "hidden" harmonics and adding a natural "shine" to the tone that makes lead lines and pinch harmonics pop.Touch-Sensitive Response: The pedal is highly dynamic, responding to a player's pick attack and volume adjustments for everything from a transparent grit to thick, steamy saturation.Six Clipping Stages: A dedicated rotary control allows you to cycle through six different clipping settings, providing a wide range of compression and saturation profiles beyond the standard "stock" setting. Functional SpecificationsControls: Output (Master Volume), Tone (Treble/EQ shaping), Gain (Overdrive intensity), and the 6-position Clipping Selector.Chassis Options: Available in a high-visibility Grabber Orange or a Custom Art Edition featuring unique silver and black graphics by artist David Medel (WeirdBeard72).Compatibility: Operates on standard 9VDC (center negative) power or a 9V battery. This is an Open Box Display Model.
