For sale is my MFB-522, in excellent condition and fully functional.If you know this machine, you already know why it has such a strong reputation. It’s one of those rare compact analog drum machines that genuinely delivers serious character and punch. The kick is deep and weighty in a very classic way, the snare and clap cut beautifully through a mix, and the hats and cymbals have that unmistakable raw analog texture. In my opinion, it’s one of the best-sounding and most useful classic analog drum machines ever produced — especially considering its size.Despite its compact footprint, it’s surprisingly powerful. It works great as a standalone unit thanks to the internal step sequencer, and you can automate certain parameters directly. That said, it really shines in a modern studio setup: all parameters are accessible via MIDI CC, which makes it fantastic as a desktop sound module controlled from a DAW or external sequencer.Another huge plus: every sound has its own individual output.
