The Ibanez AUP10N from the AU series stands out as a trailblazer in the world of 6-string piccolo guitars, showcasing an innovative construction method that sets it apart. Unlike traditional ukuleles, the AU series begins as a solid block of wood, with the body meticulously routed to create a singular back and sides structure. The top is then added, resulting in an instrument that boasts not only a unique sound profile but also unparalleled playability. The Okoume neck and Purpleheart fretboard cater to the peculiar tuning of 1A, 2E, 3C, 4G, 5D, 6A, providing a comfortable and engaging playing experience. The Spruce top, paired with Solid Paulownia back and sides, ensures tonal clarity and brightness. The Purpleheart double hole bridge simplifies string changes and promotes tuning stability. The Stereo Sound Port System, Elevated Comfort Armrest, Beveled Cutaway, and Edgeless Comfort Heel contribute to the overall uniqueness and playability of this extraordinary piccolo guitar.
