About this listing
1964 Gibson ES-345TD with CITES, pricelist and original case. This is an incredible-sounding 1964 Gibson ES-345TD in a beautiful 2-Tone Sunburst finish. This guitar has been wonderfully preserved and is in excellent vintage condition. Honestly, this is easily one of the absolute best ES-models I have ever had the pleasure of having at the shop.Pickups & Electronics The heart of this guitar is a pair of Pat. No Label T Top Humbuckers which sound absolutely magical. They are beautifully balanced with excellent clarity and bite:Neck Output: 7.45 kOhmBridge Output: 7.15 kOhmThe guitar features gold hardware, original 1964 potentiometers (pots), and a vintage ABR bridge fitted with newer saddles for optimal intonation. The Varitone rotary switch is fully functional. Crucially, the output jack has been jumpered/wired to Mono, making it vastly more practical for modern everyday use with standard guitar cables and amps.Neck & Fretboard It features a gorgeous Rio (Brazilian) Rosewood fingerboard, shared with its famous sister model, the ES-335, but elegantly elevated by Gibson’s iconic split-parallelogram inlays. After the legendary '58/'59 neck profiles, the 1964 neck carve is the most highly sought-after shape Gibson ever produced (famously preferred on Eric Clapton’s original 1964 ES-335). It feels absolutely incredible in the hand.Specs & Included Accessories:Serial Number: 154136Year of Manufacture: 1964Weight: 3.95 kgThe original "Stereo" truss rod cover is included.
