About this listing
Electric Soul presents a Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean guitar. This is a fairly rare semi-hollow body instrument that has not been produced for many years. This particular guitar is from 1997, a well-regarded period in Gibson’s history, the 1990s. Instruments from that time are considered very good, and their market value keeps increasing. This model is naturally associated with Gretsch guitars, as Chet Atkins was their most famous artist for many years. However, in the early 1980s, the legendary “Mister Guitar” joined Gibson, which went on to produce many successful models bearing his name. These guitars are still respected today and are an interesting part of the company’s history. The guitar has a nitro finish in a striking and quite unusual (for Gibson) Sunrise Orange color. It features a unique body shape, a characteristic armrest, and an elegant pickguard. These elements make it stand out from classic Gibson ES models. Structurally, it is a typical semi-hollow guitar with a maple body and a center block. The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is ebony. The electronics include two Gibson 490 humbuckers. The guitar is almost 30 years old but remains in very good condition. There are minor, surface signs of use such as small dents and scratches, but they do not affect functionality. Technically, everything works correctly. The instrument is fully functional, set up, and ready to play. The frets have been lightly polished and are in very good condition, requiring no further work. This guitar should appeal to fans of jazz, classic rock’n’roll, and modern alternative music. It is also an interesting option for collectors looking for something a bit less common. The set includes the original 1990s-style brown case with a pink interior.Elektryczna Dusza (ENG: Electric Soul).
