Inspired by the legendary Dove design introduced in the early 1960s, the Dove PRO combines classic styling with the practicality of modern Fishman electronics. Its solid spruce top provides clarity and projection, while the maple back and sides contribute a bright, articulate sound with excellent note definition. The full-size square-shoulder dreadnought body delivers plenty of acoustic volume for strumming, flatpicking and accompaniment.
When it is time to plug in, the factory-installed Fishman Sonicore undersaddle pickup and Sonitone preamp provide a natural amplified sound. Convenient volume and tone controls are discreetly mounted inside the soundhole, preserving the guitar’s traditional appearance.
Visually, the Dove PRO is one of Epiphone’s most distinctive acoustic guitars. Highlights include its ornate Dove pickguard, decorative Dove bridge inlays, split-parallelogram fingerboard inlays, multi-ply body binding and beautifully shaded gloss finish.
