Left the mic intact with a client and they lost everything but this power supply on tour! :-(My loss your gain: If a studio has a working Bock 507 microphone but a broken or missing power supply…or just wants a spare in case down the road something happens.It’s a vintage-style inductor design, based on vintage u47-circuitry specific to the 507's Telefunken EF814 tube requirements, maybe can be used for parts for custom builds etc.

Overview

The Bock Audio Model 507 (or "5-ZERO-7") is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone with fixed cardioid pattern.

While the amplifier is similar in design to the classic U 47 microphones, the 507 features a unique elliptical capsule rather than the typical 1" round capsule. This capsule eliminates in-band resonances inherent to capsules where the edge-to-edge distance is constant all the way around.
