Echolette (Dynacord) Echo 400 tape echo 19 inch version COMPLETELY SERVICED ! 

Made in Germany, this is very similar to the Dynacord EC-504 and features the same high quality components and excellent build quality that these German units are renowned for.
In beautiful condition with new tape, good rubber pinch roller, good plastic guidance rollers ! demagnetized and polished clean heads,

The housing has been completely washed clean. Inside the housing everything has been made dustfree.

The Running mechanism is adjusted and cleaned. The motor shaft is polished and super smooth. All guidance roller shaft holes are lubricated with ceramic grease. The messing of the NEW rubber pinchroller has been lubriacated with special oil.



All potentiometers are cleaned with professional washspray and air blown cleaned.

The electronics have been tested.  All electrolytic capacitors (elco's) have been replaced, including the power supply! Quality 105 degrees Panasonic have been used. 


The sockets have been cleaned with the crackle killer and is a great invention from Australia : 



All transistors have been replaced for more modern and quieter types.

NEW plastic uppercase !

The  reverb setting is all the heads together and with the feedback of the echo you can make the reverb longer. 


You can use the heads seperately or mix them for i.e. triplet echo's. 

There are four trim pots on the rear which allow  a tremendous amount of control over levels and balance: it can take  some time to set up for optimum operation but the results are stunning-  the repeats are really superb in quality when the levels are  correctly-set. There’s no vari-speed, but that’s the case for many  classic echo units.

4 head echo reverb unit with endless tape loop,

4 playback heads, 1 record head, with 8 push but- ton switches,many different echo/reverb effects, echo/reverb switch for fast echo to reverb change, echo on/off with foot switch, 1 channel with volu- me, bass, presence,treble and echo controls,jack inputs on the ftont side, controls for echo return, echo bass and treble, and echo duration, red ligh- ted modulation indicator (diodes).

Frequency range original 20—20000 Hz, echo/re- verb 50—12000 Hz.

Large Papst motor (wow and flutter 0,8%), echo length 75 msec, 150 msec, 225 msec, 300 msec. DINand stereo jack connections for echo send and return, separate echo in and outputs with level control.

Echo effects

The 4 playback heads have 4 push button switches giving4 different echo lengths, a special circuit design keeps the output at the same level to avoid overload.

Reverb effects

4 push buttonswitches can be mixed with each other for various reverb effects.
