Up for sale, a 2007 Mosrite USA Ventures Model American Standard Mark I 1963 “Sidejack” model in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. An extremely rare, stunningly accurate recreation of the 1963 Type 1 Sidejack Ventures Model, this Mosrite features multi-ply binding on top, smooth knobs and pickup covers, and a sandcast Vibramute tailpiece.

Produced by Mosrite licensee Fillmore in Japan, the "USA" line was made in exceedingly small quantities. While the hardware and bodies/necks were produced to high standards by Fillmore in Japan, these guitars were purportedly assembled by Semie Moseley's daughter, Dana Moseley, in the USA. All USA-spec parts were used in the wiring harness as well. Dana was an employee of Fillmore at the time, and this partnership ceased in 2015, shortly before Fillmore's era of Mosrite production ended.

Tonewoods include a basswood body with prominent German Carve, a maple neck, and bound slab rosewood fingerboard, yielding a smooth, balanced acoustic tone. These tonewoods provide an ideal platform for the single coil pickup pair which offers plenty of power, percussive cut, and sparkling treble. Weighing 8lbs 11oz, this Mosrite has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

There is a moderately-sized ding/chip at the bass-side lower bout edge of the top with a small daub of finish touch-up, and further wear on the gloss Candy Apple Red finish is limited to just a couple tiny marks on the body as a whole. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless.

The original faux alligator hardshell case with leather endcaps is included.
