Description

The Technics SL-1200, a Japanese-made direct-drive turntable, is arguably one of the most widely-used high-fidelity turntables in the world, with a stellar reputation for stability and robustness. Besides being a DJ favorite for decades, this turntable has found its way into the homes of audiophiles and listeners globally. In particular, the SL-1200 is renowned for its accurate and stable rotation speed, ensuring the highest quality pitch reproduction possible. This MK2 model (which became the "base model" for the SL-1200 series) was released with improvements over the original model, such as vibration damping, feedback resistance, and the replacement of rotary speed control with a fader.

This turntable is in Good condition. The enclosure has some scratches, scuffs, and discoloration due to its age(please check photos). The inside of the turntable is partly discolored and stained (please check photos). The dust cover has scratches and scuffs from age, and is slightly yellowed(please check photos and refer to dust cover policy). The dust cover doesn't stand properly because the hinges became weak(please refer to dust cover policy). It has been tested by our professional technician, confirming their flawless operation. Both 33 and 45 settings work perfectly, and the platter rotation is stable.
