Bach Stradivarius 180S37 Silver Bb Trumpet--Chem Cleaned, Serviced, Extras!

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Bach Stradivarius 180S37—Bach’s all-around workhorse designed to perform well in pretty much any instrumental setting.  It is in very good condition:  silver plate about 99% with a little wear mostly tucked up into the inside edge of the of the main tuning slide where you have to look really hard through the third slide to see it, and some small marks and imperfections from past minor dent removal, mostly the little pinprick ones as shown at the bell tail.  It is a great-looking horn as you can see from the photos.  Unlike most of the Strads you may be looking at, this one is just through the shop where it had a brand new leadpipe installed, and was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished and had new water key cork, tuning slide O-rings, piston felts, and stop rod bumper installed.  All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide, which is so often stuck that many people don’t realize it’s supposed to move.  Valves are fast and smooth with very good compression.  Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a Bach 7C mouthpiece, leather valve guard, new ProTec slim profile straight mute, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and a new ProTec leather finger protector.   All in the original Bach hard case with a moderate smell of valve oil but structurally in very good condition.  Sells new at M&A for a whopping $3,399, so save about $1,500, and snatch this one up just in time for a new marching band season!
