The Big Muff Pi is a vintage American fuzz pedal, renowned for its thick distortion, generous sustain and harmonically rich tone. Depending on the exact version, it can deliver a fatter, grittier sound than earlier models, with plenty of low end and scooped mids, making it ideal for heavy riffs, singing leads and the massive walls of distortion associated with alternative rock.
