A 2014 ESP E-II Stream in Snow White, made in Japan and preserved in excellent overall condition.

The Stream was introduced by ESP at the 2014 NAMM Show, making this example a first-year production instrument. Even better, the original Japanese warranty card is still present and is dated May 23, 2014.

This is a striking example of ESP's unmistakably Japanese approach to bass design: futuristic body lines, excellent construction, distinctive pearloid details, black hardware and powerful EMG electronics.

About the E-II Stream

The Stream is one of ESP's more distinctive bass designs – unmistakably modern, while retaining the traditional 34" four-string format.

E-II was ESP's professional-level Made-in-Japan production line, positioned above LTD and below ESP's higher-end Original Series and Custom Shop instruments. The E-II name itself was still relatively new in 2014, making this first-year Stream particularly interesting from a collector's perspective.

Introduced at the 2014 NAMM Show, the Stream was a completely new model for that year. This particular example therefore represents not only the first production year of the Stream, but also the early period of ESP's E-II era.

Combined with its original Japanese warranty card dated May 23, 2014, Snow White finish, pearloid appointments, black hardware, EMG electronics and original ESP hard case, this is considerably more interesting than simply another modern active bass.

Condition

The bass is in excellent overall condition, and the hardware is likewise exceptionally well preserved.

There are only very minor signs of use. The only notable cosmetic flaw I have found is a small finish chip at the edge of the neck pocket.

The frets, fingerboard, hardware, controls and electronics all present very well.

Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and show the actual condition of the instrument.

Original Case & Papers

The bass comes with its original ESP hard case.

Also included are the original Japanese ESP warranty card, dated May 23, 2014, and the original ESP electronic sound products owner's manual.

The hard case has some cosmetic wear and marks from storage and transportation, but remains fully functional and provides proper protection for the instrument.

The surviving original paperwork is a particularly nice addition to a first-year E-II Stream and helps document the instrument's history.
