The Thermionic Culture Rooster 2 is a 2-channel tube mic pre/EQ, and an update to the original model. The "Attitude" circuit provides harmonic distortion, either pentode or triode, and also adds additional gain to the system for a max potential of +87dB of gain (+56dB with the Attitude control at its lowest setting). The equalizer section features a bass boost, presence lift, and mid and bass cut, and switchable low-pass filter. The front panel features switching for mic or line input operation as well as a DI input for instrument level signals.
