Here for sale we have a Supro Silverwood Electric Guitar in Transparent Red finish. Made in Indonesia in 2019, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-o-matic bridge, a Supro tailpiece, 3-on-a-plate Kluson-style tuners, and a set of upgraded Railhammer Hyper Vintage Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile resembling a ‘C’ sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing surface in all registers. The Pau Ferro fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and provides a smooth and reliable playing surface, whilst the traditional 12" radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending which is assisted by the Medium Jumbo fret wire. The Silverwood body design aids in easy access to the higher frets whilst the contours offer a comfortable playing experience.The upgraded Railhammer Hyper Vintage Humbucker pickups feature two exposed bar pole pieces under the bass strings, with individual round pole pieces for the treble strings. The result is a tone that is similar to a Railhammer Anvil Humbucker but fatter, with all of the low end, thick mids, and smooth treble you would expect from a high output, especially considering the bridge is wound an extra 15%! This is a very exciting and unique instrument that can cover a wide range of genres and sounds. The front face demonstrates light to mild scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. The sides demonstrate circular scratching around the tuning pegs. The top edge demonstrates light scuff marks that could not be removed during our cleaning process.Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, most notably at the 4th fret. These markings cannot be felt beneath the strings.Body: Overall very good condition. The front and rear face demonstrate light to mild scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The sides demonstrate light scratching and indentations, most notably at the bass and treble side waist and near where the forearm rests. The rear face demonstrates an indentation where the neck meets the body.Condition of Frets:The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting is present to the early register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.Current Set Up:Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the bridge, tailpiece, control plate and pickguard.
