Dayton-made, late 1960s Wood Power Tone This appears to be a Dayton-made model manufactured between 1967 and 1968. The Power Tone is one of the most popular models in the Rogers Wood Snare series. The shell is made of 5-ply maple/poplar with reinforcement and features a gray speckled paint finish. It has an open, woody tone, yet itfs clear and focused?a well-balanced sound thatfs easy to use even today. It gives the impression of a vintage snare drum that is very easy to play. Overall, it shows moderate signs of use, including wear on the hardware, some rust, and general polishing marks. The switch has a bit of play, but it functions properly as is. The sound itself is flawless, delivering that classic Rogers sound?woodsy yet tight and funky.
