About this listing
This amp looks like it came out of a sealed box a few months back..l can play anything from country, to Jeff Beck, and the woman sound of Page, or the brown sound of Van Halen.. and of course I can do all the stoner Rock, grunge, punk, and sludgy doom rock I want with the versatile Thunderverb 50, without losing the core orange voice we crave as Orange players. I think they are the best alternative rock amps. The clean channels can clean up pretty darn good. It loves those pedals. Best amp Orange ever put out, no doubt about it imo, this one's in mint condition and probably has no more than 10 total hours on it.. this amp will change your entire world. Someone is going to buy this amp and you're going to be kicking yourself for not getting it, or at least you're not going to have any idea of what you are going to be missing...The best one I've ever seen, or heard.. they don't come around in like new condition often. These are great all stock. . The voice of the Thunderverb is unique and unlike any other orange amp, without losing the core orange tone. What would you pay to have the perfect tone? Some would say it's priceless! Don't let price compromise your tone! (A Diezel vh4 head costs $4500+, and this amp sounds better imho. The only channel people mostly use on a VH4 is the third Channel. I sold my vh4 as soon as I got a Thunderverb).Im the second owner of this amp and purchased it from the original owner when it was still brand new, and unused in a open box. So when I say it has 10 hours on it or less, I mean it ..This was a backup Tv50 to my other TV 50 that I sold recently. I've mainly just kept it covered and collected it.Fwiw, don't get the 200 watt version unless you are solely using it for the bass guitar, and need the extra Headroom. If you're only going to be using the standard six string guitar, the 50 watt head is far better. It has tons of Headroom and it's more articulate and saturated for metal tones, if you're into metal, of punk stuff, and that's what I'm mainly into. I think the best amps are able to play metal, compared to something like a fender that doesn't even sound good with metal with pedals, lol. Orange, Marshall, Mesa, those are the amps you want if you want to go with Metal. ENGL's sound good too, but I like the orange because they're just so unique with that "fuzzy toppiness" they have.
