1950 Martin 0-18 – Beautifully Aged Vintage Mahogany Guitar – Outstanding SoundFor sale is a wonderful 1950 Martin 0-18, a beautifully aged vintage Martin with exceptional tone, feel and character.This guitar looks and sounds outstanding. It has normal signs of use for an instrument of this age, but presents beautifully with the kind of natural patina and charm that only a well-seasoned vintage acoustic can have. I do not see any cracks. The guitar is light, resonant and beautifully dried out, with a very open and musical voice.Most importantly, it sounds absolutely fantastic. It responds easily, has a sweet and woody vintage Martin tone, excellent balance and a very inspiring character. Even in its current condition, it plays and sounds heavenly.The guitar is currently before a neck reset. The action is higher than modern low-action standards, but the instrument is still playable and already sounds incredible as it is. I have decided not to rush the neck reset, as experience shows that many buyers prefer to have this work done by their own trusted luthier.
