Here for sale we have an Ibanez MM-1 Martin Miller Signature Electric Guitar in Transparent Aqua Blue finish. Made in the FujiGen plant in Japan in 2018, this guitar is a signature model for German guitarist Martin Miller, and features a bolt-on construction comprising an African Mahogany body with Flamed Maple top, S-Tech treated Roasted Maple neck and 24 fret Roasted Maple fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a T1802B tremolo bridge and Gotoh SG381 H.A.P Magnum Lock tuning machines. A pair of Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups are installed, these are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, master tone and a 2-way 'Alter Switch' toggle. Ibanez's S-Tech wood treatment involves heating the timber over a period of hours in a pressure controlled container which is filled with nitrogen. The result is wood which retains incredible dimensional stability; much more resistant to temperature and humidity changes than it otherwise would be. Certainly, the appearance of the timber is supremely uniform, and with its oiled finish feels very luxurious under the thumb. The fingerboard is also pleasant to the touch, and features a 12” radius making this guitar making lead lines and string bending in the upper register feel superb.The pair of Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups installed in this guitar deliver a wide range of tones. They produce a moderate output for a natural clean voicing, accurately reflecting subtle playing nuances and responding well to small adjustments of the controls. The bridge humbucker delivers a punchy tone, with plenty of brightness to bring your playing front and centre in the mix. The neck provides a smooth and rounded tone, whilst retaining a shimmer which really shines through with clean tones. The dyna-MIX10 switching system makes use of the 'Alter Switch' to offer series or parallel wiring modes. A seriously well-equipped instrument from the top end of Ibanez's range. Light to mild indentations can be seen to the top edge of the headstock, these have lightly pierced the finish slightly but do not expose the wood beneath. Neck: Overall very good condition. Very light indentations are present tot he rear of the neck close to the neck pocket, these can lightly be felt in the playing position and can only be seen under direct light. The Satin finish to the fingerboard has been lightly polished to a gloss texture through regular past use. These can only be seen under direct light.Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild chipping of the finish is present to the treble side edge rear face, these have pierced the finish exposing the wood. A mild indentation is present to the rear face near the back plate, this has cracked the finish but does not expose the wood.All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching which can only be seen under direct light, this is most apparent to the rear face by the neck screws.Condition of Frets:The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.Current Set Up:Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) included.Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the pickups and back plate which can be seen under direct light.
