2004 Gibson Firebird Studio "Dark Cherry" – A Rare Bird, Rarely FoundNot a guitar you stumble across every day: this first run 2004 Firebird Studio wears a gorgeous Dark Cherry finish and comes in genuinely excellent condition, complete with its original hardshell case and full Gibson paperwork. This is the very same model made famous by Dave Grohl, who has played a Firebird Studio extensively over the years, most iconically the black example smashed at the end of the "The Pretender" music video. The Firebird Studio strips the classic Firebird profile down to a workhorse spec: full-size humbuckers, set mahogany neck (while keeping all the visual drama of Gibson's most distinctive body shape).
