About this listing
One of only 200 made, featuring a beautifully figured roasted ash body and the unique roasted maple neck and fretboard combo (which are the same piece of wood. No separate fretboardband neck woods, which I've never seen). The grain pattern on this one is nicer than any other I've seen of this model and it's only 7 lbs. This was my dream guitar I never planned to sell but I am moving next week and need to.Fender absolutely nailed this run. This guitar has all the vintage goodness you'd expect from the AVRI series, including the substantial Thick Soft V neck profile. (The carve is quite full and many players describe it as feeling closer to a chunky C/D than a pronounced V) Vintage-correct 7.25" fingerboard radius, vintage-style tremolo, and classic '56 Strat pickups. Lightweight, resonant, and extremely lively acoustically.Includes the original bridge cover ("ashtray"), tremolo arm, and original Fender tweed case which is more worn than the guitar is, but perfectly working. The roasted wood has also developed that unmistakable sweet vintage nitro smell that guitar nerds know and love.Condition is great overall with a few minor dings, scratches, and signs of normal handling here and there, but nothing significant. Frets are in very excellent shape and the guitar plays beautifully. Truss rod has never been turned before either.SpecsLimited Edition FSR (1 of 200)Roasted Ash bodyRoasted Maple neckRoasted Maple fretboard7.25" radiusChunky "soft V" neck - more like a full D)Vintage-style synchronized tremoloAmerican Vintage '56 pickupsOriginal tweed caseOriginal bridge cover includedTrem arm includedA killer-looking and increasingly hard-to-find Strat that combines vintage specs with the stability, feel, and gorgeous grain of roasted ash wood.Tags: Fender Stratocaster Strat Fender USA AVRI American Vintage 1956 Strat AV56 Roasted Ash Roasted Maple Custom Shop CS Relic NOS Closet Classic Masterbuilt Gibson Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul SG ES-335 PRS Paul Reed Smith Silver Sky Suhr Tom Anderson James Tyler Grosh Nash Guitars Xotic G&L Legacy Music Man Cutlass Reverend Jetstream Charvel Jackson Kiesel Ibanez AZ Heritage H-150 Collings 290 Novo Shuriken Friedman Vintage Guitar Boutique Guitar Collector Guitar High End Guitar Premium Guitar USA Made Made in USA Nitro Nitrocellulose Ash Body Maple Neck Maple Fretboard Roasted Neck Roasted Maple boutique Fender Tweed Case Single Coil Vintage Pickups Surf Guitar Blues Guitar Rock Guitar Funk Guitar Jam Band Deadhead Phish John Mayer Eric Johnson SRV Stevie Ray Vaughan Jimi Hendrix Jeff Beck David Gilmour Mark Knopfler Clapton Rory Gallagher Boutique Gear Guitarist Musician Recording Studio Session Guitar Reverb Marketplace Local Pickup Shipping Available Trade Fender Custom Shop Alternative PRS Silver Sky Alternative Suhr Classic S Anderson Drop Top S Style Guitar S-Type Super Strat Vintage Spec Strat Natural Ash Natural Finish Lightweight Resonant Rare Limited Edition FSR One Of 200 Collector Grade
