Here for sale we have a Fender Custom Shop American Custom Strat RW NOS in Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst finish. Made by Fender's finest luthiers in California in 2022, this guitar comes from the American Custom series, which aims to create modern iterations of Fender's classic designs to the highest level of quality with the finest tonewoods & hardware. Of course featuring a bolt-on construction, this guitar is composed of an Ash body, Roasted Birdseye Maple neck & 22 fret 'AAA' Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including an American Vintage 6-point tremolo bridge, Bone nut & Fender Modern Locking Staggered tuning machines. A trio of Fender Custom Shop Hand Wound Fat '64 Stratocaster single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck/middle tone & bridge tone controls. The neck plays beautifully, with the '60 Style Oval ‘C’ profile offering a supremely comfortable and practical playing experience in all registers. The profile is moderate- not too chunky like some vintage necks but also not so slim as to be too lead-focussed. It's certainly a profile that will please the majority of players. The Gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, ensuring that fast articulate lines are an absolute breeze. The Roasted Birdseye Maple is very attractive & adds a real sense of luxury to the playing experience. The 'AAA' Rosewood fingerboard is a lush, dark colour and with a tight grain provides a very smooth playing surface. The 9.5"-12" compound radius is very practical for chording in the lower register and lead lines as you climb the neck, whilst the Narrow Tall frets offer enhanced string bending and vibrato feel. The trio of very special Fender Custom Shop hand-wound Fat '64 Stratocaster single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver incredibly clean, crisp and precise Stratocaster tones, just as you would expect from a guitar of this prestige. The neck is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your lead and solo tones to the front of the mix. The middle position is bright and spanky, perfect for those funky rhythm sounds. The bridge pickup is hotter, and provides a searing yet articulate tone that is well suited to rock riffs and rhythm parts.
