A beautiful pre-owned 62 Jazz Bass built by "Jason Smith," who has worked with many famous artists, is now in stock! Jason Smith is a veteran builder whose father is the legendary Fender R&D staff member Dan Smith. This one is 3 tone sunburst with fiesta red finish and aged vintage look. The matching head is also a key feature. Body is "2-Piece Alder" painted with "Lacquer" and neck is "RIFT SAWN Maple" painted with "Nitrocellulose Lacquer". Fingerboard is "Flat-Laminated Rosewood", neck shape is "60 J-Bass U", fingerboard R is "7.25" Radius. The frets are Vintage UPGRADE/45085 with 20 frets. The sound and response are clearly different from the other guitars, as it was made by Jason Smith. Hand-Wound Vintage J-Bass pickups are installed. The deep bass and piano-like overtones of the real vintage sound are unique to this instrument. It has a high degree of reproduction of the feeling of use over time, such as the dirt from the relic, minor scratches, dents, weather checks, paint chips, fogging, and parts smudges, and has the elegance and character that only a matching head can have.
