Fano’s Alt de Facto series is the company’s hand-built line from Arizona, with each guitar made around a selected combination of woods, pickups, hardware and finish options. The RB6 is one of the more distinctive models in the range, with a lightweight double cut body, German carve and compact offset-style outline. It keeps the feel direct and simple, but the body shape and detailing give it a very different character from a standard single cut or double cut design.This RB6 Alt de Facto has an alder body finished in Lake Placid Blue with a factory heavy relic treatment. The heavy ageing, matching headstock and 4-ply aged pearloid pickguard give the guitar a strong custom look, while the German carve adds more depth and shape to the body. The bolt-on maple neck has a C profile and a rosewood fingerboard with white MOTO dot inlays. The 254 mm to 406 mm compound radius gives it a rounder feel in the lower positions and a flatter feel further up the neck.The electronics are straightforward and very usable, with two Lollar P90 pickups controlled by volume, tone and a 3-way selector. This gives the guitar a simple layout with a wide range of classic single coil sounds, from fuller neck pickup tones to a more direct bridge position. Hardware includes a TonePros AVT-II bridge and Gotoh SD90 tuners.Comes with Fano gigbag and paperwork.
