API 505 DI - Discrete DI - 500-Series Module
The API 505 DI is a 500-series direct input module. The 505 DI is designed specifically for guitar, bass or keyboard input and features gain, tone, pad and impedance controls.
The tone control can be used to reduce any muddy frequencies with the bright switch adding extra clarity to the sound via a passive shelf. A -20dB pad ia available for hot signals and the load switch toggles between 100K and 400K which can alter the tone of the pickup slightly.
The gain control is used to boost the output with A 10 segment LED meter for checking your levels.
