Nash S63 - Surf Green

The Nash S63 in Surf Green feels like a time capsule cracked open—an instrument that breathes the golden era of electric guitar while offering the effortless playability of a modern build. Its alder body is the perfect canvas for that glowing Surf Green finish, a shade that conjures seafoam waves and neon jukebox lights. The medium aging lends the guitar a story right out of the case—tasteful wear in all the right places, soft to the touch and rich with the promise of years on stage.

The maple neck, carved to a comfortable C profile, feels immediately familiar and alive in the hand. Its smooth satin finish invites endless playing, whether for laid-back rhythm work or fiery lead runs. With a 10-inch fingerboard radius, bends soar easily and chords fall naturally under the fingers, capturing that elusive balance between vintage feel and contemporary precision.

At the heart of this S63 lies a pair of Lollar P-90 pickups, chosen for their bold and expressive voice. The neck pickup blooms with warmth and detail, revealing a woody midrange that sings clean or snarls when pushed. The bridge unit, by contrast, delivers raw attitude with a chime that cuts through the mix like sunlight on chrome. Together, they make this guitar a masterclass in dynamics—touch-sensitive, articulate, and endlessly versatile.

A simple control layout—volume, tone, and a three-way switch—keeps everything intuitive and immediate. This is a player’s guitar through and through, built to disappear in your hands and let the music lead. At just over eight pounds, it strikes the perfect balance between resonance and comfort, a companion ready for long nights and loud rooms.

The Nash S63 in Surf Green isn’t a reproduction—it’s a rebirth. Every detail, from the whisper of its relic finish to the soulful growl of its P-90s, has been crafted with a reverence for tone and feel that few builders capture so completely. It is an instrument that feels both brand new and sixty years old all at once, a guitar made not just to play, but to love.
