This rare, original, vintage Fender Musicmaster Pick Guard with it's metal shield/backing came on a 1963 Musicmaster which I acquired around 1969 and played while I fronted my R&B horn band as a singer (2nd to last pic). Several years later, I traded the guitar and eventually traded it back. Decades ago, I modded it and set it up for 2 pickups and recently rebuilt it again (last pic). These original Pick Guards seldom come up for sale and pretty much never with the original metal shield/backing. Please look at pics carefully. You will notice that I scotch taped the shield to the pick guard (years ago) to hold the 2 pieces together and to keep the upper horn part from falling off. The lower horn also has a partial crack but is not separated. I have done nothing to clean up this unit....it is indeed a relic.
